Kenneth G. Bell – Principal/President
Building high-end custom homes on the peninsula for over 30 years. Ken founded K.G. Bell construction in 2001 to establish a business that values quality construction and excellence to our clients. Ken’s vision of excellence started as a superintendent working on high-end homes in Atherton and Woodside. Since then, his clients have consistently praised his attention to detail.
Larry J. Angel – Sr. Project Manager
Larry has over 35 years experience in design, construction and management of residential and commercial projects in Northern California. He is a licensed professional engineer and has a general contractors B-1 license. He was a managing partner in an Architectural-Engineering firm in San Jose for over 10 years. Most of their work was for the banking industry and in the commercial building field. He has managed construction projects from multi-unit apartments, large scale condominiums to main frame computer facilities.
His background in Architecture and Structural Engineering give him the experience and understanding of the needs of design professionals. He has a solid record of working well with people at all levels including Government officials, design consultants and Client’s representatives. He is well organized and can handle all aspects of the project from design concept, client relations, production drawings, estimating and construction management.
Chris Collins – Project Manager
Chris Collins is a project manager and brings years of experience through different construction managerial roles and trade expertise. Chris provides coordination with the home-owners, architects, subcontractors and the City Building department. He also works with Senior Project Manager Larry Angel providing scheduling and budgeting. Born and raised in Palo Alto, Chris has worked on custom homes on the peninsula and surrounding areas for over ten years. His background includes a B.A. in economics from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
Michael Pallari – Superintendent
Mike started as an apprentice working with Ken in 2000. Mike has learned all aspects of high–end construction, project design and budget management. His hard work, attention to detail and a commitment to exceeding client expectations have led to his current role at KG Bell. Growing up in San Mateo County, Mike brings an unbridled passion to his job each & every day and has garnered the respect of not only clients but work colleagues as well. Fiercely proud of his heritage, Mike is always a great source for Italian restaurant recommendations. Married to the love of his life they reside in Burlingame with their amazing Dog Rocco!
Carmela Manahan – Project Accountant
Carmela has been in the construction business for over 20 years. As Accounting Supervisor/Manager, she has dealt with all types of construction contracts. Her extensive knowledge of Job Costing, Tracking and Analysis will give her leverage in keeping the projects up to date. Carmela earned her Bachelor's degree from Purdue University.
